Emily Knight

Programme Officer (East Midlands, Yorkshire & Humber and North East)

Emily joined the AHF in September 2019 as the Transforming Places through Heritage Programme Officer for the East Midlands, Yorkshire & Humber and North East. 

Emily's background is in heritage and museums, having previously worked as an Investment Manager for the National Lottery Heritage Fund. As part of this role she assessed and monitored grants across the Midlands & East including a number of townscape heritage schemes. Prior to this she worked as the Operations Manager for the National Holocaust Centre and Museum and has experience of working in the third sector. 

She is a Trustee of the National Justice Museum and has a Masters Degree in Heritage and Interpretation from The University of Leicester, with a particular interest in community engagement with heritage.
