The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is a leading heritage charity, founded in 1976 to promote the conservation and sustainable re-use of historic buildings for the benefit of communities across the UK, particularly in economically disadvantaged areas. We do this by offering advice, grants and loans.

We are recruiting an experienced Investment Manager to support the work of the AHF’s Investment Team. This is an exciting time to join the heritage sector’s only dedicated social investor, with a managed loan fund of over £16m and an expanding portfolio of 50+ clients. This sits alongside our growing grant investments across the UK which funds over 250 projects per year. The Team is friendly and supportive, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Investment Manager to join us and help to grow our portfolio and funds, supporting social enterprises and community businesses to deliver positive community, environmental, placemaking, economic and social impacts through the re-use of heritage assets.

Commitment to diversity

In accordance with our commitment to promote equality of opportunity and diversity across all of our areas of work, we particularly welcome applications from people from black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, disabled people and younger people, who are currently under-represented within AHF.
