Transforming Heritage Episode 4

Originally built for John Riddel & Co in 1867, Riddel’s Warehouse has been virtually unchanged since its closure in 1973.

Hearth Historic Buildings Trust is currently working to conserve and restore this former ironmongery warehouse as a centre for the creative industry, which will include accessible, inclusive and flexible performance and exhibition space, with creative co-working and collaborative space above.

The AHF has supported this project with four early-stage grants, a Heritage Impact Fund loan and, most recently, a Capital Works Grant towards urgent conservation work.
