We are delighted to announce the appointment of Menna Jones as Trustee of the Architectural Heritage Fund.

Menna will bring a wealth of skills and knowledge to the Board, having worked in the social enterprise sector for the last 30 years, including as Chief Executive of Antur Waunfawr, a social enterprise in North West Wales, for 27 years. She recently joined the Bardsey Island Trust, where she is responsible for leading heritage, culture and environmental projects and creating a sustainable future for the island with the intention of re-establishing families to live there sustainably.

She previously worked as Development Co-ordinator for Cymdeithas Tai Eryri housing association and for Dafydd Wigley, MP for Caernarfonshire. She has been involved with the social enterprise and community sector in Wales at all levels, including voluntary roles, spearheading heritage, recycling and care projects, and contributing to national social enterprise strategies. She is passionate about the Welsh language, culture, environment and heritage, and is a Board member of Menter a Busnes (Enterprise Agency), Yr Urdd (National Youth Organisation), and  Canolfan Iaith Nantgwrtheyrn (the Welsh Language Centre).

Rydym yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi penodiad Menna Jones yn Ymddiriedolwraig y Gronfa Treftadaeth Bensaernïol.

Bydd Menna yn dod â chyfoeth o sgiliau a gwybodaeth i'r Bwrdd, ar ôl gweithio yn y sector menter gymdeithasol ers 30 mlynedd, gan gynnwys fel Prif Weithredwraig Antur Waunfawr, menter gymdeithasol yng ngogledd orllewin Cymru, am 27 mlynedd. Fe ymunodd hi ag Ymddiriedolaeth Ynys Enlli yn ddiweddar, lle mae hi'n gyfrifol am arwain prosiectau treftadaeth, diwylliant ac amgylcheddol a chreu dyfodol cynaliadwy i'r ynys gyda'r bwriad o ailsefydlu teuluoedd i fyw yno'n gynaliadwy.

Bu'n gweithio fel Cydlynydd Datblygu Cymdeithas Tai Eryri ac i Dafydd Wigley, AS Sir Gaernarfon. Mae hi wedi bod yn ymwneud â'r sector menter gymdeithasol a chymunedol yng Nghymru ar bob lefel, yn cynnwys rolau gwirfoddol, arwain prosiectau treftadaeth, ailgylchu a gofal, a chyfrannu at strategaethau menter gymdeithasol genedlaethol. Mae hi'n angerddol am yr iaith Gymraeg, diwylliant, yr amgylchedd a threftadaeth, ac yn aelod o Fwrdd Menter a Busnes, yr Urdd, a Chanolfan Iaith Nantgwrtheyrn.
