The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Wales has announced the shortlist of Heritage Angel Awards Wales. There are 15 nominations across five categories including Best Rescue of a Historic Building less than £5m, Best Major Regeneration of a Historic Building or Place. Two of the nominated projects have received support from the AHF are:
· Plas Kynaston, Cefn Mawr - Best Rescue of an Historic Building or Place (for projects under £5m)
· Cardigan Castle - Best Major Regeneration of an Historic Building or Place (for projects in excess of £5m)
Founded by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, these awards celebrate the efforts of people taking action to save and their local heritage give it a new lease of life.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 8th November at Caerphilly Castle. The Wales winners will be joined by winners from the other home nations at the UK final where the winners will be revealed at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre on 27th November 2018.
