We are pleased to announce that Historic England has released its shortlist for the Heritage Angel Awards 2018. This year there are 15 finalists, four of which have been supported by the AHF. Categories for which the four have been shortlisted include: Best Rescue of a Historic Building less than £5m, Best Major Regeneration of a Historic Building or Place, and Best Contribution to a Heritage Project by Young People. Cromford Mills Creative Cluster, Derbyshire (Best Major Regeneration of a Historic Building or Place)
Founded by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, these awards celebrate the efforts of people taking action to champion their local heritage. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre on 27 November 2018.
