The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is currently seeking to appoint a new trustee to its Board to represent Wales.

The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is a leading heritage charity founded in 1976 to help charities, community businesses and social enterprises across the UK find solutions for vulnerable historic buildings. We do this by offering advice, grants and loans.

Over the last 40 years the AHF has awarded loans with a total value of £124m to nearly 900 projects across the UK and has made more than 1,200 individual early project grants offers totalling nearly £9m. We are the UK’s leading heritage social investor and the only specialist lender to organisations regenerating historic buildings. This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious organization that has recently expanded its investments in Wales, thanks to increased funding from Cadw.

As well as someone well networked or knowledgeable in the heritage or social enterprise sectors within Wales, we are seeking someone that has experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Conservation and heritage/community led regeneration
• Architecture / and or developer of relevant historic building projects
• Social investment / running a social enterprise and/or charity

Mae'r Gronfa Treftadaeth Bensaernïol (AHF) ar hyn o bryd yn ceisio penodi ymddiriedolwr newydd i'w Bwrdd i gynrychioli Cymru.

Mae’r Gronfa Treftadaeth Bensaernïol (AHF) yn elusen dreftadaeth flaenllaw a sefydlwyd ym 1976 i helpu elusennau, busnesau cymunedol a mentrau cymdeithasol ledled y DU i ddod o hyd i atebion ar gyfer adeiladau hanesyddol bregus. Gwnawn hyn drwy gynnig cyngor, grantiau a benthyciadau.

Dros y 40 mlynedd diwethaf mae’r AHF wedi dyfarnu benthyciadau gwerth cyfanswm o £124m i bron i 900 o brosiectau ar draws y DU, ac wedi gwneud mwy na 1,200 o gynigion grantiau prosiect cynnar unigol gwerth bron i £9m. Ni yw prif fuddsoddwr cymdeithasol treftadaeth y DU a’r unig fenthyciwr treftadaeth arbenigol. Mae hwn yn gyfle unigryw i ymuno â sefydliad uchelgeisiol sydd wedi ehangu ei fuddsoddiadau yng Nghymru yn ddiweddar, diolch i fwy o gyllid gan Cadw.

Rydym yn chwilio am rywun sydd yn ddelfrydol â chysylltiadau da neu sy’n hyddysg yn y sectorau treftadaeth neu fentrau cymdeithasol yng Nghymru, ac sydd â phrofiad mewn un neu fwy o’r meysydd canlynol:

• Cadwraeth ac adfywiad a arweinir gan dreftadaeth / y gymuned
• Pensaernïaeth a / neu ddatblygwr prosiectau adeiladau hanesyddol perthnasol
• Buddsoddi cymdeithasol / rhedeg menter gymdeithasol a / neu elusen
