AHF 2020/21 Impact Report

26 May 2021
UK

The AHF today publishes its new annual Impact Report, which analyses data gathered from projects we funded to understand what role our advice and support plays in a project’s development, and what impacts AHF projects are having in communities across the UK. Focusing on data collected from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021, the Report draws together all our loan and grant activity into one document in an effort to evaluate our overarching impact.

Kelcey Wilson-Lee, Head of Programmes and Impact, said:

“The AHF’s 2020/21 Impact Report is the culmination of eighteen months of work developing and implementing a new Evaluation Strategy that allows us to demonstrate better than ever before the AHF’s contribution to heritage-led regeneration projects across the UK. The Report also seeks to understand the wider change that AHF projects will forge in towns, cities and rural areas throughout the country – bringing redundant and derelict space back into use to create home for thriving community groups, businesses and charities.

While the Report will grow in sophistication in future years, it already demonstrates clear outcomes showing positive change for the sector, and makes recommendations that we hope will help shape future funding programmes.”
