Leah O'Neill

Support Officer (Northern Ireland)

Leah joined the Architectural Heritage Fund’s as Support Officer for Northern Ireland in April 2024. She supports AHF’s grant work by advising and guiding projects with special focus on the earliest stages of a project’s lifecycle. She works alongside the NI Development Manager.

Leah has a range of experience within the heritage sector including work in heritage consultancy, project co-ordination, Heritage at Risk Officer at the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society and Investment Manager at the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Prior to working for AHF she was Historic Environment Policy and Project Officer at Northern Ireland Environment Link, a role which she continues as part of a job share.

Leah has a BA in Archaeology and Cultural Anthropology from Queen’s University Belfast, an MA in Museums and Cultural Heritage from the University of Ulster and an MSc Sustainable Heritage (Built Environment) from University College London.
