Asha Karbhari

Head of Investment

Asha was appointed as the Architectural Heritage Fund’s Head of Investment in August 2022, having initially joined the organisation in June 2018 as its Investment Manager attracting and delivering new investments to support the sustainable reuse of historic buildings across the UK to a broad range of not-for-profit organisations. As Head of Investment she oversees the AHF’s social investment function, managing a small team to deliver its social investment funds across the UK, along with RePlan, the AHF’s business support service.

Based in Sheffield, prior to joining the AHF she worked within the Social Investment sector for over twelve years with Social Investor - Key Fund providing blended finance, loans and equity investment to a broad range of Social Enterprises and Community businesses across the North of England and the Midlands. Previous to this she was a Grants Officer for the Big Lottery Fund for seven years, therefore her combined experience of the Third Sector and social investment makes her a valuable addition to the team.
