Society of Antiquaries of London secures HLF funding towards Kelmscott Manor

Congratulations to the Society of Antiquaries of London!  They have been successful in securing initial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund for a major £6m project for the Kelmscott Manor Estate, William Morris's former home in Oxfordshire.

The AHF has contributed a Project Development Grant of £10,000 toward the cost of work needed to develop the proposals.  The planned project will open up this extraordinary historic site to a much wider public, improving the experience for visitors and helping to ensure this special place and Morris's legacy can be enjoyed by generations to come.
